An essential part of fighting sickle cell disease. We want to ensure the community is kept informed and has pathways to participation.

In line with its vision to reduce the number of new sickle cell disease births while optimizing the lives of individuals with sickle cell disease; the SCAGO supports clinical research, engages in psycho-social research, health promotion, education, awareness, and development of best practices guidelines.  It has contributed significantly to fellowship programs and established the young researchers’ award program.
