Chapter Lead & Patient Wellbeing Coordinator, Windsor-Essex

Stasha Todorovic, MSW, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker and Chapter Lead / Patient Wellbeing Coordinator for the Windsor-Essex region at the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario (SCAGO). She is passionate about supporting individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and works closely with the community to ensure they feel heard, supported, and empowered.
At SCAGO, she provides crisis and psychosocial support, helping clients navigate complex systems, access resources, and develop practical employment and housing strategies tailored to their unique situations. She also facilitates in-person and virtual peer support groups, creating safe spaces where individuals can connect, share experiences, and build resilience together.
She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and brings years of experience in mental health, community care, and clinical practice across Canada and the United States. Her approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and centered on meeting people where they are.
She is deeply committed to advocacy, equity, and improving quality of life for individuals and families living with Sickle Cell Disease.
