Dr. Melanie Kirby-Allen

Dr Kirby is an Academic Clinician in the Division of Haematology/Oncology at SickKids. Dr Kirby is also Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. Dr Kirby received her MD degree from the University of the West Indies. She completed her Paediatric and Paediatric Haematology/Oncology training at The Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto. She is Co-director of the Haemoglobinopathy Program in the Division of Haematology/Oncology at SickKids. Served for many years on the Advisory Board; she moved to the Governance Board at SCAGO in 2017 to ensure she provides medical oversight to the organization.
