Sickle Cell Advocate and caregiver, Tanya Elese, is a dedicated Christian, wife, and mother of three wonderful children. Professionally, she excels as a Human Resources and Project Management Professional with the Library of Parliament, holding a Master’s in Project Management. Tanya passionately serves the sickle cell disease community through various roles at SCAGO, including Ottawa/Gatineau Region Coordination, Advocacy via the Patient Advisory and Advocacy Council, and French translation. Always ready to support awareness initiatives, especially those benefiting women, children, and the Black community, Tanya lives by the motto: Awareness is key!
