Lance Archer lives with Sickle Cell Disease (HbSS) and is passionate about improving the quality of life of patients with the disease. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario (SCAGO) and the past Chair of SCAGO's Patient Advisory & Advocacy Council (PAAC). Lance is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. candidate with a research interest in Health Psychology, specifically treatment adherence. Lance aspires to develop psychological interventions to improve the health-related quality of life of persons with chronic illnesses, including sickle cell disease. He enjoys watching movies and TV shows, singing, and eating French fries.
