RSW Julia Millington

Julia Millington (she/her) is a social worker and Transition Program Coordinator for Student Accessibility Services at McMaster University. Her work focusses on expanding access to and preparation for post-secondary for students with disabilities. Through empowering conversations with students, families, educators, and healthcare professionals across the Golden Horseshoe region, Julia helps students realize what is possible.

At McMaster, Julia leads the MacStart summer program, which provides academic skill building content, social opportunities, and peer mentorship for incoming undergraduate students with disabilities. Her commitment to advancing inclusive practices has led her to be a sought-after speaker at national events such as the Accessibility and Inclusion Summit, the Canadian Association of College & University Student Services (CACUSS) conference, and the High Incidence Disabilities Conference.

Julia lives in Hamilton with her family, who inspire her to create a more inclusive world.
